This system is provided in motor cycles to prevent the tires to be locked when brake is applied. Locking of the system may cause severe effects while driving. By comparing the rotational speed of all the wheels in the vehicle, the system detects the abnormality in the braking. This system was first applied to aircrafts in late fifties. But later in 1988 it was first applied to the motor cycles by BMW. The braking distance may be lightly increased during the operation which may be dangerous in tricky surfaces. The system also provided with a light to indicate the irregularity so the system may be disabled till it is repaired
