One of the primary problems of the increased motor vehicle in streets is the pollution made by the emission of combustion gases. So the regulations have been made to check those emissions by conducting emission tests. The test involves collection of the emitted gas from the vehicle under running condition. The gas is diluted to find out the amount of carbon in it. By comparing it with the amount of fuel that has been used, the fuel economy can be calculated which must be within the allowable limit.
